如果只分析中国当代艺术，香港佳士得的“亚洲当代艺术”和“中国二十世纪艺术”中的中国当代部分共完成了24,140,220美元的成交额。这处在拍前预估的16,773,250美元至24,438,050美元区间的上部。和2010年春拍相比，成交额上升了54.4%。这一成绩也与上月香港苏富比的结果一致，反映了一个积极上升的趋势。两大拍卖会并驾齐驱，佳士得的中国当代艺术部分比苏富比略高9.1%。佳士得的“亚洲当代艺术”拍品中，中国的当代艺术在成交额上占了89.5%，而在苏富比，这一比例为72.1%。
