In this edition of the ArtTactic Podcast, we speak with Michael Plummer and Jeff Rabin, Co-Principals of Artvest Partners, an art finance advisory firm that provides art investment services and liquidity solutions for collectors and financial intermediaries. Michael and Jeff, former auction house executives, begin by providing their analysis of the major New York auctions that occurred earlier this month. Then, they address some of the obstacles art collectors and investors face today, most notably liquidity, access and transparency, as well as how they help their clients overcome these hurdles. Later, Michael and Jeff provide their thoughts on the current art market landscape as well as how things look going forward.
