Judd Tully (Feb 16th, 2010)
In this episode of the ArtTactic Podcast, we speak with Judd Tully, Editor at large of Art + Auction. Just back from London, Judd recaps and provides us with the general reaction from last week's major Contemporary auctions, the first of 2010. Judd also discusses to what extent confidence has been renewed in the marketplace, and whether both we should expect auction houses to begin winning more major consignments in the near future and if guarantees may prominently return. Lastly, Judd discusses the limited presence of blue-chip artists Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst and Jeff Koons in these past Evening sales, and what it says about the makeup of the current art market.
