Friedrich Kiradi (May 13th, 2010)

In this episode of the ArtTactic Podcast, we're joined by Friedrich Kiradi, director of the Art Photography Fund, an Austrian-based art fund that invests in classical photography.  Friedrich beings by addressing the advantages of investing in classical photography over other artistic movements such as paintings.  Launching in March of 2008, Friedrich talks about how the economic downturn has impacted the fund strategy as well as how the fund has performed since its inception.  Lastly, Friedrich speculates on the short-term future of the art fund industry and if he believes we can expect funds to emerge as the art market shows substantial signs of recovery. Michael Plummer and Jeff Rabin (Nov 25th, 2009)
